Audition 26: On camera Commercial

Kids. I really don't mind them except that there are two specific kinds: The ones who like to play and the ones who think they know better than the adults. The first ones get commercials, the latter become stars.
They said that at first they thought we should be "small" but that they've been getting notes from the diretor and agency to go bigger so, by the time Mr. facial reactions walked in, it was broad time. That's good for me. I was on my a game. And I had to do it twice cuz they needed husbands.
I was great. It's a big brand. The money would be good, but not great.
I don't think I'll get a call back. I don't look like a dad. I look like a dad's fat brother these days.

Audition 25: On Camera Commercial (Updated)

I got to work with an actor I've always admired. I was confident. Set. Secure. Should I have worn the glasses? I didn't care? Should I be worried that I forgot one key direction that wasn't really that key but was highlighted? No.
Why?
Because I think I've finally gotten to the point where I don't care. Lost an agent today and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Agent didn't get me a lot of work but got me a ton of auditions. Did agent's files get opened?I dunno. Does it matter? Not really. New agent this week.
Same agency.
Call backs for this one are on the 8th. We'll see....
Update: No, I didn't get a call back. But I ran into that same actor at an audition today and neither did he. So there's that. Whew.

Audition 24: Radio Commercial

One line.
Two Reads.
My favorite one was the one I did when describing the audition for my wife ten minutes after I submitted it.
Blurg.
National chain.
Not a chance.
